Meneyebutkan angka atau nomor dalam Bahasa Inggris

Untuk penyebutan angka atau nomor dalam bahasa iggris kita lihat jenis angka atau nomor apa yang akan di ucapkan apakah itu bersifat Cardinal, Ordinal Number,Multiple number,Fraction atau decimal.

Cardinal number ( angka biasa)

1,2,3,4,5,etc

Ordinal Number ( bilangan bertingkat)

The first                               :  1^st

The second                          : 2^nd

The third                              : 3^rd

The fourth                            : 4^th

The fifth                               : 5^th

Etc

(Note    : Ordinal number selalu di dahului dengan “the”)

Multiple number ( kelipatan)

Once                                     : 1x

Twice                                    : 2x

Thrice                                    : 3x

Four times                              : 4x

Five times                               : 5x

Etc

Fraction (pecahan)

²/₃                                                         : two/third

⁵/₃                                           : five/third

¹/₂                                           : a half

¹/₄                                           : quarter

Decimal (decimal)

2,53                                        : two point five three

31,67                                     : thirty one point six seven
