Thanks to the Lord, I'm so happy because now i have a baby,he is cute baby... I never ever imagine if i will have him in my life after 2 doctors in the past told me,if it will hard for me to have a kids because of the disease that i have but now,Look! How Great is Our God,He give me the baby and now i never feel the pain in my body because of the disease that i have,the disease gone and the baby's come 😊 . God is good,i'm a lucky girl in the world i have a wonderful baby, feeling so blessed...

US SLANG RELATED TO FOOD

•  Grub: food. e.g. Are you hungry? Let’s grab some grub!

•  Cup O’ Joe: coffee. e.g. I have to have a cup o’ Joe in morning or I’ll get so sleepy for my morning class.

• Grinder: long sandwich. e.g. Haven you tried the new fish grinder? It’s my Mom’s favorite.

• Lay off: stop eating so much food. e.g. My boyfriend is gaining weight. Guess he should lay off the fast food.

• Veggie: vegetable. e.g. Gerard really loves veggie burger. I told him to be a vegetarian.

• Wolf down: to eat very quickly. e.g. Ray wolfed down five burgers and still asked his mother to buy him more.

•  Have a bite: taste the food. e.g. The spaghetti is so delicious. Have a bite, Mike.

• Grab a bite to eat: get something to eat. e.g. Why don’t we grab a bite to eat on our way home? I’m so hungry.

Hay Guys episode kali ini kita tetap ngebahas slang,alasan yang membuat saya senang berbagi dan mempelajari tentang American slang itu Karena kadang bahasanya itu terdengar lucu,agak sedikit berantakan bahkan terkadang terdengar kasar dan membuat kita tersinggung,tapi jangan cepat tersinggung pahami baik-baik apa maksud dari kalimat yang mereka lontarkan … dan alasan lainnya saya senang dengan American style yang wow,cool,free wild and funky but still be good person kalau English saya salah mohon dimengerti ya.. haha..yukk kita belajar menghafal slang biar gak miss communication with them.... lol…chek it out...!!!

·         Party pooper                       : Perusak suasana

Contohnya ketika ada acara makan malam dan saya hadir namun kehadiran saya sangat tidak di harapkan maka saya disebut “party pooper”

Ketika kita merasa Sangat Frustasi,stress berat dan sangat down

·         Big guns                          : orang-orang yang sangat penting atau powerful

·         Airhead                            : orang yang betul-betul bodoh (Stupid person)

·         Boo-boo                          : Kesalahan-kesalahan (Mistakes)

·         Flipped out                     : Kehilangan control (lost control) contohnya: she is Flipped out

·         Goofy                               : dikit bego,agak bodoh,dodol (silly)

·         pure gravy                        : Kerjaan gampang (easy money)

·         jerking me around!         : Cuman buang-buang waktu saja

·         a pain in the neck           : Mengganggu (annoying)

·         Pig out                              : Makan banyak

Take, Bring, Put

Take, Bring, dan Put adalah Full Verb (kata kerja penuh).

Take = Mengambil

* She takes course for her better english

Bring = Membawa

* She Brings the pocket dictionary everyday

Put = Meletakkan

* She puts the book on the table

Ketiga kata kerja tersebut pun bisa mempunyai arti yang berbeda, tergantung konteks kalimatnya.. 

* Don't put off till tomorrow what you can do today..

Put Off = postpone = Menunda

Perbedaan See, Look (at) and Watch yang hampir semua artinya sama-sama "Lihat"

1.  See

Ketika Kita melihat sesuatu dengan tidak sengaja,segera setelah kita membuka mata maka kita melihat nya.

• I can see a cloud in the sky.
• I suddenly saw a butterfly fly in front of me.
• Didn't you see Rina? she walked over to you..

     2.  Look (at)

When we look, we try to see. Digunakan ketika kita mengkonsentrasikan mata kita untuk melihat sesuatu, disini kita berusaha untuk melihat.

• Look! It's wood broken.
• Look at this photo! Is it beautiful?
• I'm looking but I don't see it.

 Jika kita menggunakan look dengan sebuah objek, maka kita  menggunakan look + at + Objek. example Rika look at Marry.

       3. Watch

Dengan menggunakan kata kerja watch, kita melihat lebih aktif. Watch hampir sama dengan look, tetapi watch lebih memerlukan usaha keras karena dengan watch kita melihat sesuatu yang bergerak.

Contoh:

• The police decided to watch the suspected murderer rather than arrest him immediately. They hoped he would lead them to the body.
• I like watching motor racing on TV.
• If you watch that egg for long enough you'll see it hatch.

*Looking For sama dengan Search (mencari) sedangkan

  Looking at sama dengan Look atau see yang artinya melihat
